Mother’s Day Gifts You Can’t Buy in a Store

Mother's Day Movement changes lives

A whopping $14 billion is spent annually in the United States on Mother’s Day celebrations. This jaw dropping amount is used to splurge on luxuries such as flowers, fancy meals, cards and jewelry.
Something about this didn’t feel right for the founders of Mothers’ Day Movement, an organization whose mission is to improve the lives of women and children all over the world. Every year, Mother’s Day Movement runs a campaign to raise money for a charity: this year’s cause is Saving Mothers, an organization that aims to reduce maternal mortality in childbirth.
