The Teeniest Film in the Universe

A video created with atoms! [VIDEO]

What happens when nanophysicists want to have fun? They make films!
Such is the case with a group of IBM scientists, who research atoms for the enhancement of storage capacities. They created A Boy and His Atom, which holds the Guinness World Records record for the World’s Smallest Stop-Motion Film. Using their equipment, they move the atoms from one place to the next, creating a movie depicting a little boy playing with a ball and even jumping on a trampoline.
In other words – an atomic explosion of creativity!
