3 Last-Minute Ways to Take Part in Good Deeds Day

Good Deeds Day is coming up this Sunday, April 10 - and it’s not too late to take part.

Our busy daily schedules don’t always allow us time to properly plan ahead. But doing good is easy – any positive action can be a good deed. With International Good Deeds Day just days away on April 10, 2016, here are three last minute ways you can take part:

1. DO GOOD ONLINE

Viewlyprovides an easy, fun way to create and participate in a good cause. After finding the cause you want to join, or creating your own, you can use Viewly to share your action and engage your teammates, friends and family to participate. This year Viewly has teamed up with Good Deeds Day to bring Doing Good online. To spread your cause across the Internet, just use the hashtag #GoodDeedsDay on your social media accounts.

2. DO GOOD AT YOUR LOCAL CAFE

When twin sisters decided to take the  idea that every kind act, however small it may be, will always make someone else happy, and turn it into action, Discovering Coffee was the result. While buying coffee at their local coffee shop, they asked the barista to make them another cup – and anonymously take it to the old man who was outside in the freezing cold. Using Discovering Coffee allows you to recommend cafés you liked or find a cafe where you can enjoy a good caffeine boost and do something good while you’re at it! Doing Good can come in a hot cup of coffee!

3. DO GOOD ON THE STREET

Creating your own Street Store is easier than you think! After sending a request to receive an open source file to create a street store, just choose a suitable location, collect donations of clothing and shoes from your community and donate them to those in need.
